April ushers in a dynamic phase of the Great Migration. Hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and antelope embark on their northward journey from the southern plains of Ndutu to the heart of the Serengeti. This time is defined by both motion and survival, as young calves, only weeks old, take their first steps across the vast plains, often under the watchful eyes of predators. The ongoing spectacle of life and movement provides unparalleled opportunities for wildlife photography, enhanced by the soft, golden light of the season.
April offers a unique experience with fewer crowds, lush landscapes, and panoramic views stretching as far as the eye can see. Beyond the wildlife, this itinerary includes an immersive cultural encounter with the Hadzabé bushman tribe, one of Africa’s last remaining hunter-gatherer communities. Engage with their rich traditions through storytelling, tracking, and hands-on experiences that provide an authentic insight into their ancient way of life. Paired with the towering presence of Mount Kilimanjaro and the serenity of the savannah.
